Date posted: 8/11/2025
In partnership with the UConn Humanities Institute, the Research Spotlight Series features 2025 undergraduates funded to explore overlooked topics that shape our understanding of humanity.
Evan Wolfgang, a senior BFA Acting student at UConn, explores radicalization, spectacle, and political violence in his original play, 'I Am Going to the Lordy.' Through the lens of Charles Guiteau, the assassin of President James Garfield, Evan weaves a story that challenges audiences to reflect on historical and contemporary parallels of extremism and mental health.
